Supported SIP Trunk Template Configuration 

Introduction


This guide explains how to set up and manage SIP trunks using the Supported SIP Templates in the RingQ Web App. These templates enable you to connect to your SIP provider quickly and reliably using preconfigured settings, ensuring a fast, simple, and accurate setup process.

RingQ SIP Management


1. Sign in to your RingQ Web App.

2. On the left side menu, click Settings to expand the options.

3. From the dropdown list, select Call Flow.

4. On the Call Flow page, locate and click the SIP button 9as shown above) to open the SIP Management section.

View and Manage Existing SIP Trunks


Configured SIP Trunks
On the SIP page, you will see a list of existing SIP Trunks. Here you can:

1. View SIP Trunks

  • Review the list of available SIP Trunks configured for your account.
  • Typical details include: Trunk Name, Provider, Registration/Status, and Destination.

2. Edit a SIP Trunk

  • Find the SIP Trunk you want to modify.
  • Click the Edit button on the right side of that SIP entry.
  • Review the configuration details (such as SIP server, username, authentication, and routing rules) and adjust if editing is allowed for that trunk.

3. Delete a SIP Trunk

  • Click the Delete button beside the SIP entry.
  • Confirm the deletion when prompted.
  • Note: Deleting a trunk will affect call routing that depends on it—ensure it is no longer in use before deleting.

Supported SIP Template


SIP Template
1. On the SIP page, click SIP Template.

2. You will be redirected to the Supported SIP Template page, where you can quickly create SIP Trunks using pre-configured templates.

Select Country and Provider Template


Select SIP country
1. Locate the Country dropdown field.

2. Click the dropdown to display the list of supported countries.

3. Click on your desired country.

Select your SIP Trunk
1. After selecting the country, the logos of supported providers/SIP templates for that country will be displayed.

2. Click on the provider logo to show all available SIP templates for that provider.

3. From the list, select the specific template you want to use.

Review the Preconfigured SIP Template


SIP Trunk template
After selecting a template:

1. You will be redirected to the Create SIP (Template-Based) page.

2. The fields on this page are locked/uneditable because all required settings have already been configured through the RingQ Customer Management Portal.

3. The page displays key SIP settings such as:

  • SIP server/host
  • Port
  • Transport
  • Registration type
  • Authentication method

4. These values are system-managed to ensure compatibility and reliability with the selected provider.

Check Advanced Settings (Read-Only)


Advanced SIP Trunk settings
1. Click on Advanced Settings to display more technical configuration details.

2. This may include options like:

  • Codecs
  • DTMF settings
  • NAT/Firewall behavior
  • SIP timers and registration intervals

Just like the main settings, these advanced settings are configured from the Customer Management Portal and are typically not editable from this page.

Create and Apply the SIP Template


Supported SIP Template
1. After confirming that you selected the correct provider template:

2. Click the Create button.

3. The SIP trunk based on this template will be created and added to your SIP list.

4. Once saved, this SIP Trunk can now be used in:

  • Outbound route configurations
  • Inbound call routing
  • Call Flow rules for your RingQ system.
