Configuring Telnyx SIP Trunk (Acct Registered) with RingQ
Introduction
This guide walks you through the step-by-step process of configuring a Telnyx SIP trunk with your RingQ account using the registered SIP trunk method. Whether you’re setting up RingQ for the first time or integrating Telnyx as your preferred SIP trunk provider, this guide will help you establish a reliable and secure connection for inbound and outbound calling.
Login to your Telnyx Account

1. Navigate to Menus> Real-time Communication> Voice > SIP Trunking.
2. Click on Create SIP Connections

3. Enter the Trunk Name
4. Select Type as Credentials
5. Select the create button

6. In the Authentication and Routing tab, copy the Username & password to configure on the RingQ Instance.

7. From the Configuration tab:
a. Select an AnchorSite based on your location.
b. Leave the remaining values as default.

8. From the Inbound Settings tab:
a. Add the channel limit based on your trunk selection
b. Rearrange the codec as shown above
c. Leave the remaining settings as default

9. From the Outbound tab:
a. Add the channel limit based on subscription
b. Leave the remaining settings as default

10. From the Numbers tab:
a. Click on Assign DID Number to this Trunk to configure the DID

11. Assign a number to RingQ
a. To assign an existing DID number, just click the Assign button on the DID Number
b. Click Buy DID number to purchase a DID

c. Once assigned you can see the number on the trunk
12. Click “Completed”.
RingQ SIP Trunk Configuration

1. Login to your RingQ instance
2. Go to Settings> Call Flow> SIP

3. Click on Supported SIP templates

4. Select the country
5. Select the provider Logo
6. Select the Registered-Based Template

7. Configure the Trunk
a. Enter the trunk name
b. Enter the Username copied from Telynx
c. Enter the Password copied from the Telynx
d. Enter the Outbound caller IDwhich you like to use as main number
e. Save the settings

8. Once the configuration is complete the trunk should be registered, and the status will be Green.
Configuring Outbound Rules

1. In you RingQ web app, go to Settings> Global Settings> Outbound rules

2. Click on “Outbound rule +”

3. Enter Rule Name and prefix details how need to route the calls
4. Select Route as Telnyx SIP
Configuring Inbound Rules

1. From your RingQ web app, go to Settings> Call Flow> Add DID

2. Click on the Add DID number button (shown above)

3. Enter the DID number
4. Click the “Create” button

5. The DID is now in the Available DID Numbers list. Click on the DID number and drag it to where you need it.

6. When you drag and drop the DID you will be given you the option to create an extension/IVR/Queue or an existing extension/IVR/Queue.
